Things are HEATing up in Miami

Buzzworthy - Feature It!

When it comes to the Miami Heat, I'm fully torn. On the one hand, they're one of my favorite teams in the league, and I want them to do well. But on the other hand, as a huge Bulls fans, I can't help but hope that Dwyane Wade gets sick of playing on a one-man team, or rather being the one-man team, and ends up in Chicago.

Though Dwyane did not explicitly say he would come over to the Chicago Bulls once July comes around, he has often hinted that if he were ever to leave Miami, his hometown would be his next stop, making Chicagoans both anxious and excited for the possibility of adding such a talented and charismatic player to their team.

So far this season though the Miami heat have made an obvious effort to keep the pressure off of Wade and become a more well-rounded team. And with players like O'Neal, Chalmers, Beasley and Udonis, it shouldn't be too hard of a task. But have the Heat relied on Wade too long to be able to be a good team with him falling back a bit? Personally I think its too early in the season to tell for sure, but I do know that if they want to keep Wade for years to come, they will have to figure out a way to make it happen.

Right now the Heat are 3-1, suffering their first loss to the Phoenix Suns this evening, losing 104-96. And though Wade is still their lead scorer, totaling 83 points in the first three games of their season, O'Neal isn't too far behind with 52 and neither is Beasley with 43.

So, do I want Miami to give their team a makeover? Depends on if you are asking the Miami fan in me or the bigger Bulls one. But do I think they can do it? Absolutely. They are a team filled with tough, talented and passionate players and nothing should stand in their way.

You must be out of your mind and living in a fantasy world. Rose/Wade backcourt and then what? Miami is getting better and Riley is waiting for this summer to supercharge the team for wade. You had your run with Jordan, now go back to the lottery and build around Rose cos Wade will be here in Miami for a long time. We are off to a good start and besides Cleveland, Celtics, and Orlando we are good enough to grab the 4th spot. ...View More

The Heat are a good team, but I don't think Wade stays if they don't start adding some more talent around him. This teams peak is as a 5th or 6th seed in the East, they need more talent to be an upper echelon team. There is a very good chance the Bulls will have a Rose/Wade backcourt next season.
