Oh man oh man where do I start??? We can start with the Baseball season... I was super excited about the Mets with Putz, K-Rod, Santanas 2nd yr just so pumped... Well it looked good going into June as we were in first place then.... Injury bug struck hard you pick a Met he was injured... Some longer then others Reyes, Beltran, Putz and Delgado were killer and later on Santana, Wright.. If I throw in guys like Maine, Perez, Castillo falling down the stairs after a pop out I will be here all night....

I found myself rooting hard for Texas who I picked before the season as a sleeper team and im the National League I was pulling for anyone other then Philadelphia... Well my nightmare season was finalized when a Met fans worst World Series match up took place Philadelphia Phillies vs The New York Yankees.... And as a smart Mets fan I was pulling for the Yankees I mean 26 going on 27 championships big deal but having to deal with Philly fans wearing red back to back t shirts at Citi Field next yr would've drove me crazy.... Bad enough Philly fans look dirty can' dress and have no class imagine the back to back shirts... Enough...Never as a Met fan did I think I would say "Thank you Yankees"

Miguel Cotto who is my favorite boxer came back in February with a TKO victory in his 1st fight back since the controversial MargaCHEATo loss last July in Vegas... I was excited because his next fight was on June 13th which is my birthday here at the worlds most famous arena Madison Square Garden... The place was jumping all my fellow Puerto Ricans and Cotto won a close split decision. I was at the top of my sports year because this victory was leading to the biggest fight of the yr a showdown with pound for pound king Manny Pacquiao... Well Cotto won the 1st round jabbing boxing but from the 4th round on he fought a stupid fight and paid the price. This was devastating to me broke my heart because now I only have the Knicks and well they stink.... Until LeBron comes please....

Football season I was so excited after the Baseball season I went through with my Mets that my Redskins after adding Haynesworth to our defense that was in the top 5 last yr that we would be able to sneak up on some people... Well when we lost to the Liopns season over... I kept saying to myself " What the hell did I do to deserve this sports yr?"

All I have now is the New York Rangers and I am not a huge Hockey fan until playoff time... My Knicks are down by 30 come the 2nd quarter and college football I dont really have a team.... Pro football I am pulling for my picks in the over under especially the Bengals and Saints and if my Super Bowl match up I picked was the Vikings against the Colts which is looking pretty good.

On a sad note I also lost my cousin Chris to Cancer is April which is the most devastating thing that happened this yr at the age of 27.... When you look back when things like this happen you realize it's only a game... May you always R.I.P Chris....
